| The Burlington Skyway Bridge was opened for traffic on 10 October 1958. |

After twinning of the Burlington Skyway Bridge was completed in 1985 the old bridge was reconstructed. These two pictures show the bridge with its road deck removed. The retrofitted bridge was re-opened for traffic on 22 August, 1988 and renamed ' Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway.'
