.

Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves you.
It's says in the Bible.
And the Bible is true.

If you ask Jesus Christ,
Into your heart.
He'll always stay with you,
Never apart.

When you’re friend hurts you
And you’re feeling sad.
Just talk to Jesus,
He’ll make you glad.

Yes, Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves you.
He love us know matter,
What we do.

Jesus loves us,
Forever, it's true.
He'll never stops loving,
Me and you!

Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves you.
I love my Jesus,
And I hope you do to.

The old lady who needed cheering up
.

There was an old lady, who was down on her luck,
She was terribly sad and needed cheering up.
She headed for town, yelling as she ran.
“Please someone help me if you can, if you can!”

As she was running a cat walked by her,
“Please help me,” she said, while petting his fur.
“Sure,” said the kitty, I’ll do what I can,”
So to town the old lady and kitty ran.

They kept on going till they met a big bear,
And right behind him was his friend the brown hare.
“I could sure use some friends to help cheer me up,
You see I have really been down on my luck.”

So the bear and the hare and the cat followed her,
And soon they found a dog with black and white fur.
The dog joined in and they yelled as they ran,
“Please someone help, if you can, if you can!”

Not far down the road were two girls and their Dad,
When they joined in the old lady was glad.
They ran and they ran till a horse they did spot,
They asked him to come so he joined with a trot.

They ran all day finding friend after friend,
When the cat kindly said, “When will this end?”
“We’re tired and hungry, many miles we ran,
We’re ready to help, if we can, if we can!”

So the old lady and all of her friends,
Headed for her home around many bends.
The sky turned gray and it started to pour,
They were all soaked when they reached her front door.

They all were so wet, cold, hungry and beat,
So she fed them and lit the fire for heat.
They each found a spot and to sleep they did fall,
And the old lady sat there watching them all.

She sat in her chair so happy that night,
The fire burning was her only light.
No more did she feel sad and out of luck,
For God sent her friends to help cheer her up.

She didn’t need a party to laugh and make noise,
She didn’t need to sing or play with new toys.
She didn’t even need her friends talking to her,
She felt good feeding them and drying their fur.

Yes God sent many friends to help her that day,
She cried out for help and He helped her His way.
He sent her those friends cause He loves her so much,
And He knew that she needed to feel His touch.

If you ever feel sad and out of luck,
Remember that Jesus can cheer you up.
Just talk to Him, He’ll listen to you,
He’ll make you happy cause He love you too.
