Canvas or tent gazebos
are portable and can be installed just about any place in your backyard. They also can be used to create more "indoor" space when camping.
To extend the life span of your canvas gazebo simply remove the canvas in the fall and reassemble in the spring.

Canvas or tent gazebos.

A gazebo is a pavilion structure, often octagonal, commonly found in parks, gardens, and spacious public areas. Gazebos are freestanding, or attached to a garden wall, roofed, and open on all sides; they provide shade, basic shelter, ornamental features in a landscape, and a place to rest. Throughout history, gazebos have been built using almost any construction material.
If you don't want to spend the time to build a gazebo and want something that is more affordable, portable and quick to assemble, your choice will be the popular canvas or tent gazebo. Virtually all canvas gazebos have a lightweight tent-like aluminum frame and a canvas roof. Some models are "open" with only a canvas roof while other models come with screened "walls" to keep out mosquitoes. Keeping the gazebo mosquito free will lower your chances of contacting the dreaded West Nile virus. A canvas gazebo can be placed just about in any place where you want to be protected from the sun and/or mosquitoes, such as the garden, concrete patio or backyard deck.
