Tips
* Place your gazebo at the far end of your property. It creates the illusion that there is more space, that the yard continues.
* Applying a water-repellent sealer every 2-3 years will preserve the natural look of your wooden gazebo.

Wooden gazebos. Gazebo kits.

A gazebo is a pavilion structure, often octagonal, commonly found in parks, gardens, and spacious public areas. Gazebos are freestanding, or attached to a garden wall, roofed, and open on all sides; they provide shade, basic shelter, ornamental features in a landscape, and a place to rest.
Throughout history, gazebos have been built using almost any construction material. In contemporary North America, however, gazebos are typically built of wood (pressure-treated pine, cedar, redwood) and covered with standard roofing materials, such as shingles.
Todays wood gazebos are often equipped with screens on all sides due to growing concerns about the mosquito-carried West Nile virus.
Prefabricated gazebo kits are very much in demand because:
- Only basic tools are required.
- No waste of materials.
- One can still claim to having built their own gazebo.
A well built gazebo will add to the total property value.
