Water Source:
In 1947 the water tank was purchased from Chipman, NB and shipped to Marysville, a distance of 76 km's. On November 1st, 1976, fire broke out in the old water tower. The water tower was no longer in service by this time, but had remained a landmark. The top half was destroyed in this suspicious fire.
Marysville was amalgamated with the City of Fredericton on July 9, 1973.
