| Water Tower's History (09-06) The old water tower at the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant (formerly known as the Main Treatment Plant) was constructed in 1948. It had a height of 41.15 m., a capacity of 284,130 liters. It served a non potable water system at the sewage plant, original fed with raw lake water and later with final effluent from the treatment plant. It was replaced by the new tower which is listed as Toronto #9. Phote Credits: City of Toronto |
