Water Source: Water was piped into Watrous with C.N.R. financing the "north" well, east of Manitou Lake.
There are only four, similar lighthouse-like construction water towers left in Saskatchewan (Kerrobert, Weyburn, Kamsack, and Humboldt.) All towers are designated Heritage Properties by the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation (SHF) and are listed on this site.
