| More Tower information: According to 100 Mile House Mayor Donna Barnett the tower was built in the 1950s and was the first water tower for 100 Mile House's water system in 1952. Water from the nearby Cecil Springs was pumped in to fill the tower. To dismantle the tower it was cut in half horizontally. Katchmar Construction did the work. The landmark will be relocated at a later date. |
