The first HMCS Chicoutimi corvette that served in World War II. The Chicoutimi was commissioned in 1940 and retired in 1945. The second HMCS Chicoutimi is a submarine who was sold by the Royal Navy to the Canadian Forces in 1998, and was officially renamed HMCS Chicoutimi at Faslane in 2004. |
