Area Information: Named after an early settler, Samuel Drumheller, the town was incorporated as a village in 1913 and became a city in 1930. "The Dinosaur Capital of North America". Drumheller is home to the best Badlands scenery in Canada, the world-famous Royal Tyrrell Museum, and the richest deposits of fossils and dinosaur bones in North America.
