Most likely ca. 1910, which is noted in a small report the Historic Resources Branch did on railway water towers. Height: Capacity: 181,843 liters Water Source: This is the only CPR water tower in Canada that is still functional. The tower is owned and operated by the Town of Clearwater. The tower was resided with fir siding in 2004. According to Government sources, 75 octagonal shaped towers were built in Manitoba between 1904 and 1925. |
