It is composed of the former municipalities of Pierrefonds and Roxboro, spanning the northern part of the West Island. Although now merged with the former city of Roxboro, the old Ville de Pierrefonds logo from 1999 is still in use for Pierrefonds-Roxboro, despite now being part of the city of Montreal.
